As Office Manager at Church Without Limits, Erin Asare oversees all office operations and church administration. From volunteer scheduling and Sunday service oversight, to booking church rental space, Erin has her hands full with the task of making sure all the big and small details of running the church are taken care of. In addition to ensuring the smooth running of worship services, Erin also oversees travel plans and accommodation for guest speakers, facilitates women’s Encounter weekends and the bookings for all special events. Erin is the backbone and the ‘behind the scenes star’ at Church Without Limits.
Erin came to know Christ at the age of 18 through the witness of a high school friend. She soon joined Church Without Limits and after volunteering extensively at the church she felt the call to enter into full time ministry. In 2007 a door opened up and the opportunity to work full time at the church office came about. Erin accepted the call and has used her gift of administration to lead the church in excellence and to train others to follow suit.
Outside of her office responsibilities, Erin leads a ConneXion and a G12 team and has served on various ministries at Church Without Limits: Kids Without Limits, Ushering, Pastoral Assistance and Drama ministry. Alongside her husband, Andrew Asare (Director of Ministries and Discipleship,) Erin provides mentorship to both married and courting couples within the church. Erin desires to use her prophetic and administrative giftings to bless the body of Christ in Toronto.
Erin completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from York University and enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with her husband and family.
Her life verses are Romans 8:38-39 - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
…and Hebrews 12:1-3 - Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Passionate about spiritual growth and development Andrew Asare, the Director of Ministries and Discipleship, gives oversight and leadership to various ministries and membership care at Church Without Limits. He heads up and coordinates the School of Leaders and assists Pastor Brendan in the management of the Men’s Network at Church Without Limits.
Before working at Church Without Limits Andrew worked as a Customer Service agent for the Drive Test Centre and as a travelling musician with the worship band Life Support. After transitioning out of his work at the Drive Test Centre, Andrew worked and travelled full-time for several years with Life Support, touring across Central and Eastern Canada, and volunteering at the church office in his spare-time. He always had an idea that full-time ministry was somewhere in his future and before moving into his role at Church Without Limits.
After committing his life to Jesus at a youth service in junior high, Andrew served in various ministries both at Church Without Limits and at his former church: Children’s and Youth Ministry, Creative arts, Drama, Praise & Worship, Consolidation, Guest and New Members Care, Pastor's Assistant, Facilities and Service Oversight. His steady involvement has fueled his passion for ministry through the power of discipleship. Andrew desires to use his pastoral gifting and previous ministry experience to help equip the body of Christ to reach the world.
In his free time Andrew enjoys playing the drums and teaching his students, golfing with his father in law and friends and watching a good T.V. show or movie while relaxing with his wife, Erin at home.
His life verse is John 17:3 – And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
As Financial Administrator at Church Without Limits, Olwen Jones has the hefty task of making sure all the finances in the church are kept in proper order. She produces monthly financial reports, prepares the annual budget, processes tithes and offering and issues tax receipts at year-end, pays staff and produces reports for the government.
After working over 20 years in Information Technology and Finance in the corporate world, God called Olwen to leave her corporate position to use her training and expertise to enrich and build the church. Shortly before working at Church Without Limits Olwen worked in IT in PC Development and Support at Bluenotes, the clothing company, and during the last company buyout she felt God calling her to something greater. She had the desire to work only where she felt Him leading and spent the next 10 months praying, taking non-profit courses and looking into full-time biblical studies. Olwen then transitioned into working at Bayfair Baptist Church where she there met Joel Witton, who at the time was overseeing a basketball drop-in program, and Jill Weber from the Greater Ontario House of Prayer (GOHOP). Both encounters were divine appointments as they led her to the positions she is working now: Financial Administrator at Church Without Limits and at MissionGTA, a ministry that believes in the unity of the church and believing for transformation in the GTA.
As a skilled financial administer, encourager and lover of Christ her passion and vision for her work is to ensure, to the best of her ability, that the finances of the House are kept in good order and to see Church Without Limits come into it’s complete destiny. She came to know Christ at an Amy Grant and Randy Stonehill Concert in 1985 and since then has never turned back. The Lord deeply touched her heart and since then she has been committed to loving and serving God wholeheartedly through involvement in various ministries: Children, Local Outreach, Missions, Hospitality, Social, Finance, Communications and the church choir.
In her free time Olwen enjoys baking, scrapbooking, travelling, puzzles, aqua fitness and reading. She has several life verses based on different seasons and circumstances of her life: 1 Cor.15:58— Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. This verse was given to her when she was baptized and her other life verses are Philippians 4:6-7 and Proverbs 3:5-6, both encouraging words in times of doubt and stress.
