Pastor Brendan's Blog

I just wanted to post a quick note regarding a "blogging break" (and a FaithFuel.tv break for that matter) I will be taking for the next season of time. I'm not 100% sure of how long it will be, I just have some very strong priorities from the Lord in this season. Stay tuned though … Continue reading »

Meet The Pastors

Pastor Brendan Witton - Lead Pastor

As founder and Lead Pastor, Pastor Brendan Witton oversees the teaching and preaching, as well as the vision casting, development of leaders and overall operation of Church Without Limits.  His heart and vision for Church Without Limits is to see every member experience God intimately and grow in the knowledge of Christ and for unbelievers to come into that same saving knowledge of Christ.  His constant prayer is for God to guide him in all wisdom and truth to lead His people effectively in the way they should go.

Pastor Brendan was called into ministry at a Believers Convention just after leaving high school at the age of 18.  He had been fasting and praying and seeking God for direction in his life and while he was at the convention, a statement Pastor Creflo Dollar made impacted him: "We need people who are going to teach people how to do this Word!"  He felt in his spirit the Lord saying “this is what you are supposed to do with your life” and it was then that he committed to serving God in ministry.

While attending World Harvest Bible College Pastor Brendan accepted the position to be the Youth Pastor at the Korean Mission Alliance Church.  While pastoring there he also founded and directed the Church Street Youth Centre, an outreach focused drop in centre committed to reaching youth in Ajax/Pickering. A number of young people came to faith in Jesus and ultimately grew to the point where Pastor Brendan felt the call to work with a core group of these youth and start what was to become Church Without Limits.

As a pastor and apostolic leader, Pastor Brendan enjoys teaching the Word of God, leading and serving the church; he loves to see people understand the Word of God and see results in their lives.  He is passionate about mentoring and raising up young leaders, church-planters and pastors and has a heart for missions in Europe.

He is involved in several ministries and movements outside of Church Without Limits including Bound 4 Life, a Pro-Life prayer movement and has also been part of the Cry Canada - where people from across the nation gather for days of prayer, fasting and worship. He is also ordained by Open Bible Faith Fellowship and is a part of Metro Ministries International where Bishop Flynn and Carolyn Johnson mentor him and Pastor Sharon.

In his spare time Pastor Brendan loves spending time with his wife and two kids, reading, writing, working out, watching basketball and soccer and gaming.

Pastor Brendan’s life verse is Acts 13:36 - and David served the purpose of God in his generation.

Pastor Sharon Witton - Co-Lead Pastor

Pastor Sharon Witton co-leads Church Without Limits with her husband and Lead Pastor, Pastor Brendan Witton.  As head over the creative department and Women’s Net, Pastor Sharon gives direction to the worship, dance, media and sound ministries and oversees all women’s ministry small groups, retreats and special events. She also gives direction to a portion of the family-related ministries at Church Without Limits: the courtship, pre-marital, singles and parenting seminars.

Growing up in a Christian home and born into an extended ministry family, Pastor Sharon accepted Christ at a young age and has served God in various ministries throughout the years.  For several years she served as a youth core leader at JolGen youth ministry at The Life Centre in Ottawa, being mentored and lead by Senior Pastors, Jason and Lori Boucher.  Her experience there was life changing and serves as the foundation for her ministry at Church Without Limits.  Pastor Sharon has also been involved kids ministry and outreach, worship ministry and music theatre, international missions to the Dominican Republic and speaking at worship and women’s conferences.

Before pastoring at Church Without Limits, Pastor Sharon graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. She continued her education and earned a diploma in Sound Engineering from Harris Institute of the Arts in Toronto, Ontario.  She took some time to travel the world, where she developed a heart for the nations and for justice for the oppressed.

As a worshipper and intercessor, Pastor Sharon’s passion is for the body to intimately know Christ and find freedom in Him.  Her desire for women is for them to know who they are as daughters of God, to empower them to fulfill their unique callings and for them to impact and influence their sectors of society.

Her love for the arts drives her to bring an increased level of excellence and creativity to the House. She wants to see artists and musicians equipped, mobilized and sent out to impact communities and the nations, and her heart for justice, taking care of the widow, the orphan and the oppressed has her supporting and partnering with various ministries in the Greater Toronto Area and as well as internationally.  Her overall desire is to see lives transformed and changed through the Gospel of Jesus.

In her free time Pastor Sharon enjoys travelling, anything to do with the creative arts: music, theatre, film and the ballet, reading, shopping, going to restaurants and hanging out with family and friends.

Pastor Sharon’s life verse is Habakkuk 3:19—The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk, not to stand still in terror, but to walk and make spiritual progress upon my high places of trouble, suffering or responsibility.
